   KUIKSTRA -- Elaine Kuikstra, aged 68, of Stanwood, formerly of Grand Rap ids, died Friday, October 9 at Mecosta County General Hospital at Big Ra pids. She was born April 27, 1924 in Grand Rapids and was a 1941 graduat e of Union High School. For twenty years she worked at General Motors Pl ant No. 2 on Alpine until retiring in 1972. In 1945 she married Henry L . who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Sandra (Marvin) Pratt o f Big Rapids, two sons, Gary (Cindy) of Morely, James (Patti) of Stanwoo d; grandchildren, Chellie, Ronald, John, Derek, and Nicholas; one brothe r, James George of Cedar Springs; and several nieces and nephews. Funera l Services will be 1:00 pm Monday, October 12 at the Germain-Monhke Fune ral Home in Howard City with Pastor Ben Lester officiating. Burial wil l be in Rosedale Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to the Lupus Foun dation may be left at the Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 2 t o 4 and 6 to 8 pm and prior to Services on Monday.
